Eighteen metres indoors runs to twenty ends of three arrows, 60 arrows, maximum 600, and the Swedish rulebook splits it by bow style: recurve, compound and barebow archers shoot the 40 cm face under the WA 18 m name, while longbow and traditional archers shoot the 60 cm face as the SBF 18 m round. Same hall, same distance, same 600 — a larger target for the bows without sights or a modern riser. Because the format is shared with World Archery, an 18 m score shot on a club evening reads directly against an indoor result from anywhere else, which is what makes it the most widely compared number in the sport.
