SBF 900
The SBF 900 is shot at three distances on the 122 cm face, five ends of six arrows at each: 90 arrows for a maximum of 900. Which three distances depends on the class — 60/50/40 m for senior, 50+ and 60+ recurve, compound and barebow archers, 40/30/20 m for the younger classes and for longbow and traditional. The stepped format sets it apart from the single-distance rounds: an archer has to re-establish a sight mark and a rhythm twice mid-round, and the scorecard shows plainly where distance stops being the limiting factor. Under 13 longbow and traditional archers shoot a single 20 m leg of 30 arrows instead, keeping the same end structure at a length that suits the bow.
