SBF 36-pilsrond

SBF · Outdoor · 5 sets of distances by class

The 36-pilsrond — literally the 36-arrow round — is six ends of six arrows for a maximum of 360, and it is the shortest full round in the SBF book. Distance and face follow the class: most archers shoot the 80 cm face somewhere between 20 and 50 m, while Under 13 archers use the 122 cm at 20 m. Thirty-six arrows is short enough to finish inside an hour including scoring, which suits a tight evening, closing weather, or a newer archer who wants a complete round rather than an endurance test. The brevity cuts both ways: one bad end is a much larger fraction of the total than it would be over 72 arrows.
