SBF Half 12 m
Ten ends of three arrows at 12 m, 30 arrows for a maximum of 300, on the 60 cm face for Under 13 and the youngest longbow and traditional archers and the 40 cm for Under 15 recurve, compound and barebow. It is the shortest round in the SBF indoor book, and its job is plain enough: give a young archer a complete, scored, finishable round on a club evening. Thirty arrows is roughly the point where concentration starts to go in a beginner, so the round tends to end while the shooting is still good — which is the right place to stop and the reason children come back the following week.
