WA 25 m
The 25-metre indoor round is shot on the 60 cm face over twenty ends of three arrows: 60 arrows, maximum 600. It is the longer of World Archery’s two indoor distances, open to recurve and compound archers from Under 18 through 50+. Three-arrow ends are the indoor convention and they change the rhythm of scoring completely — an archer walks to the target roughly every ninety seconds, so a bad end is over quickly but so is a good one. The 60 cm face at 25 m sits between the 18 m round and the outdoor formats in difficulty, and clubs with a long enough hall often use it as the winter equivalent of a mid-distance outdoor round.
