WA 60 m

WA · Outdoor · one set of distances

Sixty metres is where World Archery puts its Under 18 and 50+ recurve archers, on the same 122 cm face and the same twelve ends of six as the 70-metre round: 72 arrows, maximum 720. Keeping the format identical and moving the shooting line is deliberate — scores stay legible against each other across a club, and an archer moving up or down a class carries a number that still means something. Ten metres closer makes the gold noticeably larger in the sight picture, and most archers see their averages rise when they move here, so a 60 m personal best is not directly comparable to a 70 m one even though the two share a maximum.
